| I suggest something like a Soul to Human year ratio for age and appearance. Like for example, every 20 years for a soul is 1 year in appearance to a human.
Basically just something people can scale themselves on since the age window of a soul is so large. That way there aren't souls that look like they're 10, being older than a fully mature looking soul, just because they threw down a random number they thought fit best.
Could help people find their place on the age tree a little better, unless of course they want to be unique and be a 2000 year old child.

| No ages are all the same lol. Some people literally just get stuck as an age, Hell you don't even have to be a human in your past life for all I care you can be a product of your race, But age is all the same. | |

| So what you're saying is aging for everyone can be different? Like 1 person could look ancient at 1500, and another could look like a 15 year old at 2500?
Or they just don't age at all?

| Just be sensible about it. 15 Years old with a real age of 2500 would just be ridiculous lol. Although we have no definite rules, just try to exercise a bit of common sense. | |

| Which can be lacking in the retardus populi, so a rough general frame of reference wouldn't be amiss. For example... 5: 1,000. Probably way off, but giving some people a bit of an idea wouldn't be amiss. | |

| There is no set thing is the problem. The kid in the series that is the parakeet, says spirits dun age at all. Which is later disproven by the fact that Yachiru has aged since her younger eppearance in the flashbacks, and Rukia and Renji have both aged from their apperance in flashbacks and what not. There is no set thing, it just depends on what age said person died etc etc. | |

| Everything depends on how Kubo Tite feels. So when you make your character be sure to email him and ask him how old your character should look. Hope this helps. | |

Perhaps what he meant was that spirits who still linger the world of the living are unable to age. Once a soul burial is performed on them and they are sent to the Soul Society, aren't they given new life there? I'm sure there's some kind of age progression setup there. Where they jump into it could depend on their age when they died, but I'm sure from there they all follow one route.

| End result not entertaining this anymore everyone ages in the same amount of years. Shinigami may take 100 years or such to go through a part of their life but for a human its about 3-4 years to do this. 100 Years for a shinigami/Bounto/Arrancar is 100 years to Humans and Quincy. | |
