Topics at one time

One topic at a time means that, for example, how we have every arrancar in one big group topic right now means nothing else happens until it's done. I suggest we should be allowed AT LEAST 3 at one time, and they must all be in the same area and have the time line clearly defined. As in, the day before, a week before, a month after. As for death situations, topics that would have taken place after would be nulled and such.

It would be hardly fair if, say, we got attacked after just starting this topic and we have to wait 2 days for someone to post in the group topic before we could even BEGIN to finish. The enemy could have blown up Las Noches by then.

I seriously suggest this be addressed.

1 combat, 2 social.

Um...I agree that the one topic at a time thing makes life...incredibly slow and tedious, but your "hardly fair" example doesn't really apply. There aren't any concrete posting order rules to my knowledge for social threads, so there's nothing stopping the people who are here from noticing things getting blown up and leaving that topic and meandering over to the fight topic.

I think the fear of having multiple topics with varied timelines is that in a site like this you could die in one of the earlier timelines. Which would void every topic where the time thereafter. One combat two social is sound. Maybe a "no combat" tag in the title(as much as I hate those) because it might be your social topic and I want to make it my combat topic. Also it lets people know it's purely social no matter how your provoked.

The initial post I made was written up at 3 am. But you get my basic idea. The 1 combat, 2 social seems like a good idea. Once again, there would have to be a clearly defined timeline in them, mentioned during the first or second post maybe. It's not hard to write a sentence or two mentioning something that happened in the topic before it. Or at least the general idea of it. Vague, yet efficient. I do it all the time on another forum, and no one gets confused reading it.

Personally i would say 2 topics max, One battle/mission and one social. i would also say that the social if in a battle topic is placed in a flashback thus eliminating the worry of everything going to pot if there should be a death.

1 Topics. This is not a liquid time site. No varied timelines. You are allowed one flashback and one current topic. Nothing less nothing more. Liquid time always ends bad so we chose to avoid that.
